The holiday shopping season is upon us again, and as usual e-skate companies are rolling out some of the deepest discounts of the year on some of the boards we’ve had our eyes on. Whether you are just looking to purchase your first ride, or you’ve been waiting until the price was right to jump on a long-awaited upgrade, your dollar is likely to stretch the farthest it can over Black Friday. As has become customary, many of these discounts apply to dates outside of the holiday weekend itself, giving you an opportunity to shop around…a bit. If you see a deal on something you’ve been wanting, you shouldn’t expect to see the price dip much lower than you’re seeing it here. Keep in mind, one of the reasons this time of year is tempting for e-skate companies to unload boards at a low cost is the fact that they need to make room for next years model. When is Black Friday 2021?

Black Friday is on the 26th of November in 2021. Black Friday always falls the day after Thanksgiving, making it the fourth Friday of November. However, Black Friday sales have been extending seemingly longer every year, even spawning additional “sale holidays” such as Cyber Monday and Prime Day. It is likely that the weeks immediately before and after the 26th of November will see the best discounts available, and you are unlikely to see deeper drops until Black Friday 2022!

Will electric skateboard manufacturers drop the prices on Black Friday?

It’s worth paying attention to. As stated, the sales are unlikely to be available only on Black Friday, but it wouldn’t surprise us if some companies offer flash sales that day with even deeper discounts than they offer all week long. If you can, check the site of the board you have your eyes on early morning on the 27th…and maybe a couple more times during the day!

Will Amazon drop the prices on electric skateboard gear?

Amazon does offer up discounts on many items during Black Friday as well as Cyber Monday, but it would be wise to check the site on October 13th-14th of this year as well…that’s when the company’s own sale holiday known as “Prime Day” takes place. This is a sale event that actually lasts weeks in the lead up to the holiday season, so if you have something in mind you’re looking to get a better deal on, it may be worth poking around for a price drop.

Should I shop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Why not both? Cyber Monday tends to see more targeted discounts in the way of tv’s, multimedia, gaming and other electronic devices. While e-skates do indeed qualify as electronics, it’s not likely that many company’s are going to limit special discounts to this day. However, if you are in the market for an action camera or gimbal, that’s the kind of thing to keep your eyes out for on Cyber Monday.
